'About' Stories of My Personal Rhapsody

The stories where fantasy and reality merge creating a unique interchangeable experience with the writer, the performer and the audience.

People can create a special energy synthesis, which through its intelligence inspires ideas for writing. We all have that intelligence within us, but are not always able to transmit it during the interview because of its formality. On the other hand the energy and body language transmitted and expressed during an informal meeting, a performance or a conversation can provide a deeper-in-feeling discussion, especially when compared to an interview based on pre-prepared questions. It is up to the performer (a person who agreed to share hers/his space and intelligence with the writer) to decide on the amount of energy she/he wants to exchange, and this is why these stories are initially born in a setting that comforts the performer. The aim is to not disturb the person with staged questions to extract information in quantities, but to allow for an open space for conversation and interact freely.

If the performer agrees, a two minute silent eye to eye contact will begin our meeting. I believe that each talk or discussion with another person is a two way communication even if one of the persons chooses to remain silent. It is about giving and receiving. Sometimes it is not about words. It is about observations and personal experiences, stories, images and openness.

Often we perceive others as projections of ourselves, therefore a purely objective interview is never possible. By way of eliminating quotations or indications of when the writer or the performer is speaking, these stories dissolve the boundary between the two participants and merge experiences into one. The reader is invited to see the story as a totality – energy shared by people exchanging words, motion, touch, breath, heartbeat.

The person is at all instances informed that our engagement will produce a story, an intimate, personal, or surrealism-driven story with a magical twist where two people unravel the story equally.
